Our call will be a video call using Zoom. You will have received a private link to the meeting in your confirmation email. Zoom allows us to see each other on the screen as we are talking, and also allows either of us to share our screen if any part of our discussion needs clarifying. If you don't already have Zoom loaded on your computer, please load it well in advance of our meeting.
If you need to cancel for any reason, please give me as much notice as possible as this time on my calendar has been reserved especially for you. I understand that stuff happens, and I would prefer that you use the link in either your confirmation or reminder emails to reschedule rather than cancel. Only one re-schedule will be allowed since these are free meetings.
On occasion (but rarely) I will have the need to reschedule a meeting due to travel, illness or family obligations. Stuff happens at this end, too. If that occurs, I will inform you and offer to have you choose a rescheduled date and time on my calendar.
Show up about 5 minutes before our assigned time. Sometimes there are technical glitches that always take a little longer than we expect. If I'm not on the screen yet, you will see a message that you are waiting for the host.
